Animal care and control

We will remove dead animals from public highways and council-owned land. Once removed, all animals are disposed of as quickly as possible for health and hygiene reasons.

When reporting a dead animal, please tell us:

• the location or address where the dead animal was seen
• brief details of the animal, such as type, colour, size
• the time you saw the animal
